Party of the Half Century!

The weekend was a BLAST!!

Celebrated 50 Years of Wedded Bliss with my In-laws.

We had an AMAZING! time!

Here are some photos of the decorations and the happy and surprised couple :)

so blessed to be a part of their lives :)

Falling leaves, a 50th Anniversary, and New Downloads....I LOVE Tuesdays!

So this is how my weekend started.  I love these guys.  Who knew it was going to be 80 degrees out....in Michigan......in October?!  We were loving the summer-like weather while enjoying a fall activity!

and then...the chaos continued with the projects that are consuming my all-scattered brain lately....

Scrapbooking scares me.  Literally makes my heart beat a little faster just typing the word.

So not only am I attempting my FIRST EVER! scrapbook...I'm doing it as a gift for my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary.....and it will be on display for the million (okay maybe just 200) people we invited to their party.   I think I'll just take that Valium now.

and ...

Centerpieces ... totally forgot the ribbon before posting this pic...imagine a slim green ribbon....and you can't see the gold curlicues sticking out because I forgot to move the gold paper before snapping a quick pick.  But you get the idea.

Photo boards, banners, table runners, and other 50th Anniv Hoopla to come!  Only 4 more days till the big day!!

In other news......

Its TUESDAY!!!   New download day!!

Be sure to stop by my store and see the amazing ugly sweater download!!  yes, you heard it correctly!

There are so many cute downloads to check out!

Working Hard: Can't wait to show you!

Taking a break this weekend to work on some AMAZING! fun stuff for my in-law's surprise 50th Wedding Anniversary Party that is next weekend.

I hope you'll come back on Monday for a sneak peek at what I have been working on and what kinds of stuff you can create too!

Paper Pumpkin: Why you HAVE to sign up!!

Who doesn't LOVE when a happy little treat arrives on their doorstep?   What if you had a nifty box of goodies that you could CREATE with?  Insert Paper Pumpkin into your life!!

Join Paper Pumpkin for $19.95 a month and EVERY month a little package arrives on your doorstep.  It says "oooooooooh, take 15 minutes and CREATE with me!!"  It will have an instruction sheet, stamps, ink, and any other items needed to create that month's project!  Sometimes it is a set of cards, or a pennant, or even a mini scrapbook!  That best part:  Its a surprise!

Here is an example of what the kit was for September:

How cool is that!

The kit came with the Wahoo! stamp, the You Did It stamp, a Midnight Muse Inkspot and the embelishments you see.  The card was pre-printed with the web/circle pattern and in 15 minutes I made the 4 cards and put them in their envelopes and sent them on their merry way!   I have leftover string, the ink spot, and the stamps to use again!

Wanna see what I decided to do next??

Completely different card, Completely different look, and I just used stuff I already had on my desk.
