Another Awesome Swap Hop!

This past month, many of the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration designers participated in an Occasions Catalog Card Swap. Instead of keeping all of these beautiful card samples to ourselves, we wanted to share them with you, too! Today's blog hop will spotlight a handful of Stampin' Up's Occasions Catalog products as each of us who participated chose a different stamp set to showcase.

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog...and be sure to pin it, too! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 8 on the SSINK Occasions Catalog Blog Hop – Diana E. of Stampin' Fun with Diana. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below. And, be sure to come visit us at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration where we 'inkspire' you 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year!

Welcome to Organized Chaos!

Its always a thought bubble away from a real party!

Just Sayin'

Another Awesome Swap Hop! #stampinup

I chose to highlight my absolute favorite go to stamps!!   The Just Sayin' stamp set.
How can you not love these awesome sayings?  They add the perfect element of fun and can be used in so many ways!

I was so happy with that card....I recreated it with the SAME Birthday Basics DSP, but used different base and accent colors.  Totally changed the "feel" of the card, but I didn't have to change much!

Quick and Easy Does It!

We all love to make really fancy cards don't we?  The fancier the better right?!
Wrong!

Simple cards can be just as classy, elegant, or down right fun!

Some days you need a quick card that you can put together while preparing for dinner, ordering yearbook photos online for your kids, holding a screaming toddler, and all while waiting on hold with the cable company.

Here's that card.

Quick and Easy Does It! #stampinup #sudonna112244

Cut Island Indigo Cardstock in half (you can do this portrait or landscape!!)
Grab a piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP and cut 4x5.25
Adhere
Stamp with Just Sayin stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock
Use Word Bubble Framelit and your Big Shot to cut it out.
Adhere with dimensionals.

Voila!
Now:  make 11 more (since you can with your DSP!)

Monday Funday! Color Challenge Ahead!

Life is challenging.

Choosing a paint color for a small kitchen is challenging.

Participating in this?  NOT so challenging!

Head on over here to play along!  Just create a card/item using these 3 colors (and a neutral if you want!) and add your photo to the list!  If your photo is picked, there is a prize!!  Enter now!!!  Its a super fun way to flex those color muscles and use some colors that may have taken a backseat to the In-Colors that are so popular right now!

Here is my take on this combo:
February Color Challenge
Color your jewels with a sharpie!

Wanna make this card?

Stamp Set:  Tags 4 You
Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabi
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip Marker for accent
Embossing folders:  Perfect Polka Dots, Arrows Textured Impressions
Tools/Extras:  Bracket Label Punch, Small Heart Punch, Basic Rhinestones,
Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon, Brown Sharpie, Paper Snips

Don't be afraid to use these colors in a non conventional way.  For a Get Well card!  Mother's Day!  Even your favorite niece's 4th birthday!
