Open the Door, Get on the Floor.......

Good Morning Happy Stampers!!

First off...I just have to say, I am having an absolute BLAST!! right now in Salt Lake City at Stampin' UP!'s annual convention.

So much fun in fact, that I almost forgot to share this fun card with you!!

The girls at SSInkspiration are having a fun stamp set focus today using the set No Bones About It (click HERE to see all the super cute Design Team projects!!)

Luckily for me, one of my dear friends brought the set to convention and I was able to play along and use this fun little set!!

Now you KNOW it wouldn't be a Donna-card without a little coloring right?!!

Hahaha  ~ Do you get the blog title yet??  haha

Awesome song lyrics from Walk the Dinosaur by Was (Not Was)
and just because I love HERE to see the video and relive the 80s with me! :)

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed this fun card.  I'll be posting more tomorrow from convention!!

Anything Goes Blog Hop!

  Welcome Happy Stampers!!
Thanks for stopping by again today for another awesome Blog Hop with SSINKSPIRATION!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 7 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Melissa ~The Stamp Doc. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

Hey Girl!!

I just LOVE coloring (Can you tell?!) and I love playing around with colors and textures.  I am still mourning the Blendabilities, so using my aquapainter and re-inkers is kind of the same, but not really.  It is growing on me.  For the hair on this girl, I watercolored in Soft Suede all over (LET THIS DRY FIRST!!) then I watercolored some crumb cake in the highlight areas (it will lighten..bizarre right?)  and then in the end I used the Soft Suede marker to add the definitions and texture.  Phew.
Tomorrow I'm going to try using only my markers and a blender pen.  Wish me luck!!

This print was something for my daughter to give to her friend on their play date today.  She helped pick the paper (Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack), the colors, the stamps, and the embellishments.  I just adore stamping and creating with my daughter!!  (she is 8 by the way...and TOTALLY going to out-create me soon)

Don't you just LOVE this stamp set?!

What I love the MOST about this set is how EXTREMELY versatile it is!!
You can watercolor the images if you stamp them in Staz-on, You can color with our Stampin' Write Markers, then blend with our Aqua Painter or Blender Pen, You can use the paper piece technique (check back next week for a sampling of that!).  So Many Options!!

Thanks for poppin in today!  Head on over to Bree's page next, you will LOVE her project today!!

Cardstock:  Tip Top Taupe, Wild Wasabi, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Early Espresso
Aqua-painter with the above mentioned colored inks
(to get the skin tone, I used Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral mixed and watered down...still working on the right mixes for skin tones!)

Color Challenge #SSINKCC23

Hello Happy Stampers!!

Don't you just LOVE these colors?!!

EEK!!  I am LOVING this new stamp!!
Get Well Soup #138768 ~ $13
This is a single stamp and packs a punch!

For this card I used Staz-on so that I could watercolor.
After watercoloring, I added Crystal Effects to make it look embossed, but only in certain areas

I watercolored in Bermuda Bay to give the sentiment some shadow and color

Can you see the Crystal Effects?!  I love using it to give that embossed look, but I can put it anywhere I want!  And no heat tools, realigning stamps, or versamark :)   super easy (just have to give it time to dry!)
Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you come back tomorrow for a SUPER fun new technique!!!
